Magnificent Monchie:)

Kia Ora bloggers!
This term we have been learning about kiwi innovators. Now that we learned about some Kiwi innovators we are now moving on to kid innovators. The task is to create something to show to the teachers and they will say if they will buy it or not. Me and my friend Sophie and working together. We thought of the idea of creating a new flavor of Icecream called Monchie. Monchie is Moro and crunchy mixed in chocolate or vanilla ice cream. Me and Sophie are probably going to make it homemade. have you ever made your own ice cream before?
Until next time, Adios bloggers:)

Fantastic game

Kia Ora bloggers!
Last week in cyber smart we did some creating on scratch to get used to it. Today we got the choice of 3 activitys. I choose number 2. Number 2 was creating a game that would be fun to play in boring situations. I found this task really fun to do. I would recommend having a play on scratch.

Wonderful Wonder Book Study

Kia Ora bloggers! It's been a while.
This term in reading we are doing novel studies. I picked Wonder as the book I would like to read. I chose it because I thought it would be great to learn about. Do you know Wonder is based on a real person? I have completed a few activities but the word meaning activity is a work in progress. I really enjoyed doing the book cover activity! Can you think of a few names that could sit at the Summer table?

Exciting Explanation Writing.

Kia Ora bloggers:)
This term we are learning about explanation writing so I picked this topic to write about. I choose how a hurricane works because it is interesting and fun to learn facts about it. Did you know that there have been 7 hurricanes this year so far? A piece of explanation is when you explain how something works. Can you remember what wind speed can pick up too?

Phenomenal Persuasive Writing.

Kia Ora bloggers! Today is the last day of term 3, Yay! That means I have done some good work over the term. My favorite was maths and writing. This past few weeks we have been focusing on persuasive writing. I have started this writing piece about how I feel we should have more subjects at school. What subject would you like to have at school? I have not completed this writing piece yet. I found it easy to write and find information.
